It happened in the dead of the night. Our homes were asleep but our hearts were wide awake. Mine was looking at an octagon window that had everything to do with my present, and yours was staring at screen, waiting for my next expulsion of words to splatter across it like the shattering of a plate. I was cleaning house. Taking all the old, decrepit China that was only for display and I was throwing them on the floor, letting you see all of he broken pieces of what I really was, am. At the end of it all, the floor was covered in broken porcelain as I laid there in a bed of my own making. And you said it was beautiful.

Short and Sweet

Read some of my poetry to Oscar, his response to Counting Crows was "When did you cut your nails short?" He asked that in a sad voice - I'm not sure what that means. I guess there's still a lot he doesn't know. Other updates: - I'll post a picture of my engagement ring soon. He gave it to me October 6th. Both of our families are very excited. His mother is already talking about grand babies... I don't think those are coming just yet. - We've set a month for him to move here! July! - I'm going to start looking through the 750 art pieces in my inbox. Wish me luck! Question: How are you today?
